Resources for Worship

Faith groups and the wider community are witnessing a marked rise in loneliness which is being experienced by people of all ages and for many different reasons. There is now a growing recognition based on empirical evidence that loneliness can seriously damage physical and mental health.

One of Archway’s aims is to resource faith groups in recognising that there will be members of their own group who will be experiencing loneliness to some degree or other. They may also have members who would wish to respond to the needs of those experiencing loneliness by offering themselves by volunteering in some capacity.

We would love there to be the sense of a meaningful link between us and faith groups through which we could become a useful resource in helping them to meet the needs of those suffering from loneliness.
